I almost always see and learn something new about a destination when I visit it, and the Longmont Farmers Market is no exception. The Rockies "front mountain range offers unlimited mountain sports, and Rocky Mountain National Park is just a short drive from downtown Long Montmont. Single-lane bike trails run through the Front Range, the St. Vrain River offers some of the most beautiful waterfalls to be found anywhere in the United States, as well as a wide variety of hiking and mountain biking trails.

If you're a fan of hiking and other outdoor activities, visit Ron Stewart Preserve, a short drive from downtown Long Montmont. If you want to explore this Rockies region, there is no better place to do so than Longmont, and it is not even close to seeing a rise in hotel prices.

Longmont is more affordable than nearby Boulder, but it is home to many working-class residents who commute to the affluent county town to work in construction and at the University of Colorado. The average wage in Boulder County is $56,940, but the median cost of a single-family home is more than $250,000. Many beautiful homes are available in Long Montmont, Colorado, with condos and townhouses starting at $100,000 - $175,000 and homes starting at $175,500. One recreational store that Longmont calls home is Mile Skydiving, one of Colorado's most popular ski resorts and the second largest ski resort in Colorado. Annual ski trips to Colorado Springs, Colorado's second-largest city, jumped $30,000 this year.

In addition to skiing and other snow sports, Longmont offers a variety of opportunities to enjoy nature and explore the local culture. Long Montmont is located in a plateau at the foot of the Rocky Mountains and is the highest elevation of all Colorado cities and the second highest of all Colorado cities. It offers a wide range of outdoor activities, most of them in spring and summer.

I fell in love with Long Montmont during my first trip to the city in the early 1990s as a student at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Golf in Longmont has some of the best golf courses in the state, as well as a wide variety of courses for all levels of golfers. You will find a wide range of certified golf courses, from beginners to advanced, in and outside Long Montmont.

From the beautiful Sandstone Ranch, the St. Vrain Greenway takes you through the mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park and into the heart of Long Montmont and beyond.

Longmont is located in the northeast corner of Boulder County, but a small part of what is now Longmont County was in Weld County. The city was originally located on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park in Boulder County and is now located at the intersection of Long Montmont Road and St. Vrain Greenway. It is also near the Colorado State University campus in Fort Collins, Colorado, about 30 miles south.

The St. Vrain Valley School District serves more than 30,000 students at 53 schools, including schools in Longmont, Fort Collins, Boulder County and the city of Boulder. The U.S. Department of Education's National Institutes of Health (NIH) supports all of the county's educational needs by funding education and health programs. Long Montmont is a member of U of M's School of Public Health and Human Services and serves as a community center for the University of Colorado - Boulder and Colorado State University.

Longmont is a bike-friendly city and has been recognized as a bike-friendly city at a silver level by the League of American Bicyclists since 2012 and a gold level city in 2013.

Saloons were first permitted in Longmon in 1873, but alcohol was not permitted or banned until 1875, when Colorado enacted a statewide ban. The situation became so bad that in 1903 a group of longfitters who advocated alcohol moved north and founded the new town of Rosedale, also known as North Long Montmont.
